"If You Have Your Health, You Have Everything"
Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 8:15AM I, Tina, have a long history with Dr. Krahl. In 1983 I got hurt at
work. I had bad headaches, neck pain, and back pain. After many days
and nights in pain, my co-worker told me to “try chiropractic care”,
and to go specifically to see Dr. Krahl.
My other doctors wanted to do surgery but I didn’t want to, so I was
under medication; tylenol with codeine for the pain, and soma, the
muscle relaxer. This went on for 2 months and my stomach was really
hurting. I was still in pain with neck, back and headaches.
I decided to see Dr. Krahl, mostly because I wanted to get off the meds
and I wanted to feel and function better. When I went to see her I
was in pain and my face was being affected by now. On my first visit,
after I’d had my previous care reviewed, a complete exam, and a review
of my x-rays already taken, Dr. Krahl felt a chiropractic adjustment/
spinal manipulation, would help me. Right after that first
adjustment, I felt relief from the pain in my face. On the second and
third visit I was feeling so much better, I knew that I was going to
get well...that there was hope. Yes, after a month can testify that I
felt almost myself again, no meds, no headache, no neck pain and I
was now sleeping every night. Most importantly, I’ve never ever again
had to consider surgery.
Yes, if you have your health, you have everything. You owe it to yourself to get a second opinion.
I continued with Dr. Krahl through many years. I still go see her
when I need an adjustment. Dr. Krahl has also helped me with
nutrition and gave me specific instructions on what I could personally
do to help with the diabetes that I developed four years ago. And
another time she helped me with plantar fascitis; pain on the sole of
my foot! Dr. Krahl is my “Big Pill.” I don’t need to be taking
medication when I’m under her care. I didn’t originally know how many
conditions chiropractic could help.
I have referred many friends, co-workers and family members because I
knew she could help them get well and feeling better. I wanted to
share my success with other people who are hurting and want to get a
life without pain being the limiting factor. I thank God that I
listened to my co-worker and sought help with chiropractic. I hope
that whoever reads this will know that there is help available in
natural wellness through chiropractic care. Once you get the help you
need, you’ll want to help other people by sending them in for the
chiropractic care THEY need.

Dr. K’s note: This patient said no to pain pills. She knew intuitively that covering the symptoms was not going to change her underlying condition. In her case, although there were indications for surgery, she was able to recover enough well-being, movement and function to continue to lead a productive life, without it. She is another patient who made it to retirement without being disabled by pain. I consider it a privilege to be a chiropractor and help people like Tina. It is very rewarding to develop these deep and abiding friendships and be able to contribute to the lives of other people.
